Guadeloupe is a French overseas territory. There is no formal British diplomatic representation. For urgent consular assistance, you should contact the Honorary British Consul. The hurricane season in Guadeloupe normally runs from June to November. Several hundred British nationals visit Guadeloupe each year. Most visits are trouble-free.
